Pear Tepache Prosecco Cocktail Recipe
I had a lot of fun experimenting with this recipe and leaning on a few recipes I found online but added my own twist to it! I’m definitely not an expert bartender or cocktail maker but had to pat myself on the back for how delicious this one. Definitely worth trying! The addition of cinnamon makes it feel very festive as well.
Lemony Lentil Chickpea Salad Recipe
This Lentil Chickpea + Lemon Radish Salad has been my go-to recipe for weekly dinners and when we have guests over for a small dinner party. It's so easy to mix together and the lemon dressing is always a crowd pleaser. It's like one of those dishes that people think you worked so hard on, but really you just whipped it all together and garnished with a few leftover herbs -- easy!
Delicious + Easy Shrimp Ceviche Recipe
Although I absolutely love Shrimp Ceviche, it has intimidated me so much so that I've never tried making it on my own. Until now! I was a bit nervous that I wasted all my money on shrimp and avocados and it was going to be a complete disaster, however, I am happy to report it was super delicious and easier than expected. Who knew?
Recipe: One Pot Spinach Lentil Soup
I have made this soup three times in a matter of two weeks. It makes my house smell cozy and inviting and it somehow makes my bones warm. Which is a necessity lately, because no matter how many layers I put on or how high I put our heater up, I just can't seem to get warm.
Recipe: Apple Chutney
I can honestly say this is the best Apple Chutney I have ever had (granted, this is the only Apple Chutney I have ever had) and I will happily live my life only eating this one. Okay, okay, that's a bit dramatic. I am all about trying new things, but this recipe is just so good that I cannot imagine anything better.
Blackberry Lemon Basil Sauce
The perfect topping for french toast, cake, meat, and really just about anything. I was so impressed by how this Blackberry Lemon Basil sauce came out! This was not a planned creation, but sometimes those are the best creations. Am I right? It was Saturday morning and we had no agenda for the day. Perfect opportunity to spend the whole morning in the kitchen cooking up a storm.
Recipe: Flourless Chocolate Cake
Germany is filled with delicious breads, cakes, pastries, and fattening foods that I need to stop eating. But they do not have flourless chocolate cake. Okay, I haven't searched the whole country for it, so I am sure there is some cute, little bakery that sells it. Until I find that cute, little bakery, this recipe does the trick.
Recipe: Lentil, Avocado, & Peach Salad
The thing I love most about this dish is the fresh, lime taste that is in every bite -- it just taste like summer. Also, the lentils bring a lot of protein to this that you could eat this on its own for a meal. It'll store in the fridge for a few days, but I don't believe mine has even made it to see day 2. If you're interested in making this, the recipe is below!
Rosemary Grapefruit Cocktails
Today I am sharing a simple, delightful cocktail recipe. I must admit, I am definitely not an "expert" in the liquor/fancy drink arena, but I do enjoy a fresh, mixed drink here and there. I partnered up with one of my dear friends, Chelsea, to create a delicious cocktail that makes ya feel like a professional mixologist.
Chicken Pesto & Zucchinni Noodles
I am all about testing out the newest craze, whether it be a Smoothie Bowl or somehow making pancakes out of bananas and egg whites -- I've got to try it at least once. Lately, I've been seeing and hearing a lot of people rave about zucchini, sweet potato and carrot noodles. I love a good, dense noodle, so turning a veggie into something similar? Yes, please!
Elderflower Cocktail
June is Elderflower Season -- who knew?
Sharing a light, summery cocktail recipe today with you guys. It's easy and so refreshing.
Recipe: Best Chicken Curry
This is a one pot creation -- besides the rice, but that's an easy clean-up. My husband loves spaghetti, but I typically use 3-4 pots/pans, and though he boast on my cooking skills, he wouldn't say the same of my cleaning skills... whoops.
Recipe: Healthy Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins
Happy Monday! Today I am sharing a healthy, delicious muffin recipe with you guys. Instead of butter + sugars, I switched it up with coconut oil + yogurt. Not only did it add some additional, natural flavors, but also cut back on some of the unnecessary calories.
Happy National Donut Day || Maker's Donuts
So, what better way to spend a Friday afternoon, than with one of my favorites having a donut photoshoot. Granted, waiting 4 hours to eat these donuts wasn't so fun. Above are the pictures Rachel took and below are mine!
Recipe: Decadent, Delicious Dark Chocolate Banana Bread
I could write a novel on how delicious this bread is, how Michael ate 5 pieces as soon as it came out of the oven, and how divine our house has smelled for the past 3 days. However, I am going to spare you those delicious details and let you stair at those pictures. Also, I know you're probably thinking, "bread? this is cake", whatever you want to call it -- it's good.
Recipe: Lazy Sunday Guacamole
Sharing my easy, delicious guacamole recipe. This bowl of guac doesn't last long in our house... maybe 24 hours if we are lucky. This is simply, delicious, and can be whipped up so quickly. Grab a bag of chips and enjoy.
Healthy, Post-workout Smoothie
Today I am sharing with you my Post Workout Smoothie. Depending on the season, there might be different types of fruit, but for the most part this recipe stays the same each time. Plus, it's a great way to add additional veggies into your day and vitamins.
