East Tennessee Lavender

Lavender

One of the things I look most forward to about Spring & Summer are the local Farmer's Markets. In Knoxville, it's a place where you're surrounded by delicious, local food, children running around, and farmers sharing with the community what they are most passionate about. Even if you're just there to grab an ice-cream cone and walk around, it's the happiest way to spend a Saturday morning if you ask me.

This weekend, Erin and I decided to head over to the Oak Ridge Farmer's Market, which also included a Lavender Festival. When we arrived in the parking lot, you could smell the lavender from a  mile away --  it was glorious. Of course we had to capture the beauty of all the bundles we purchased. Excited to use my new lavender in a recipe!
