When looking for hotels these are always the priorities: well priced, convenient location, and cute atmosphere (because that's the most important). Who wants to stay in a space that doesn't have the right aesthetic and feel? Not this girl. While doing my research, I stumbled across Hotel2Stay, a new hotel next to Sloterdijk train station -- which was perfect for me because I always take the train from Germany to that exact station.

If you're short on time when visiting Amsterdam you definitely want to make location a priority, but without breaking the bank. There is so much to see and do, that being near a tram stop is always at the top of the list. After traveling to Amsterdam countless times, I think I've finally found the perfect hotel that's suitable for quick, weekend trips and even those longer travels.

Hotel2Stay is a chic 3-star hotel with apartment style rooms, a small kitchen, and plenty of amenities like a gym and sauna. Upon arrival at this chic space, I was immediately in love with the decor. I've said it countless times, and I'll say it again -- the Dutch know how to design a space. Trend bright colors, clean lines, and bright rooms; Hotel2Stay makes you feel like you've walked into your dream apartment.

Although my stay with Hote2Stay was only two nights, I fell in love with my little apartment and I really just didn't want to leave. I woke-up each morning and opening my curtains to the huge windows that brought in the best natural light. With my coffee in hand, I was able to start my mornings slow at the table situated between the kitchen and bedroom and plan my Amsterdam day.

Since the hotel was conveniently located near the train station, I was able to travel into the city center in no time. However, in the evening when I didn't want to travel alone on the train (it's totally safe, don't get me wrong) I could take a quick Uber from the city center for only $12 and be back at Hotel2Stay in no time.

All in all, my time at Hotel2Stay couldn't have been better. It'll be my "go-to" space when traveling to Amsterdam or even when flying out of Schiphol Airport. The cozy space, extremely clean rooms, and the amenities made for the perfect spot.
